Option 1: Natural Craft Broomcorn
Minimum order 10lbs for this option:
Our smallest order quantity contains 10 lbs. This corn comes in 10lb boxes or 50lb boxes. Comes in all different lengths. (it averages around 25" to 36" in length)
Natural craft broom corn is popular with crafters to make the fancy craft brooms, you can weave/braid the stems onto the handle to get creative.
For new broom makers, we recommend trying 10lb while you're learning.
It takes about 1/4 of 1 pound of stalks (10 STALKS) attached to a handle to build a round broom. Based on conservative estimate, one could make around 25 to 30 round brooms out of a 10 lb box. If you are making larger brooms, say 18 stalks around the handle, then you would make less brooms.
Broomcorn should be stored in a dry, cool place out of direct sunlight. Well stored broomcorn can last for years.
